Indole-3-carbinol (C9H9NO) is a compound that is naturally produced when the glucosinolate glucobrassicin is broken down. This glucosinolate can be found in high quantities in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, collard greens, and kale.
