Myrrha Extract

Myrrh resin, a natural gum, has a rich history of being utilized as a perfume, incense, and medicine. It possesses the unique capability of being ingested when mixed with wine. When a tree suffers a wound that pierces the bark and reaches the sapwood, it releases a resin, which is none other than myrrh gum. To obtain this precious gum, trees are intentionally wounded multiple times to induce bleeding. The resulting myrrh gum is initially waxy and quickly solidifies, turning hard and glossy after harvest. Its color varies between yellowish shades, with variations in transparency ranging from clear to opaque. Over time, as the gum ages, it undergoes a deepening darkening process, accompanied by the emergence of white streaks.

     4. Lower blood lipids The oleoresin part of myrrh can reduce hypercholesterolemia in male rabbits caused by feeding hydrogenated vegetable oil, prevent the formation of plaque on the arterial wall, and also reduce the weight of rabbits.
