What is Anthocynins?
Anthocyanidin or anthocyanin is a naturally occurring water-soluble pigment found in various plants. It belongs to the flavonoid compound family and is responsible for the vibrant colors of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Anthocyanins are located in the plant cell's vacuoles and can be produced from chlorophyll. The color of the petals varies with the pH level of the vacuole environment. During autumn, the cells become acidic, and the anthocyanins turn red or purple, resulting in the beautiful shades seen in fall foliage. The color intensity is directly related to the anthocyanin content, and in alkaline conditions, it turns blue. These colors can be influenced by various factors, including unfavorable weather conditions like lower temperatures, hypoxia and phosphorus deficiency can enhance the anthocyanins formation and accumulation.
As the food industry is heavily reliant on synthetic pigments, concerns have been raised over their potential toxicity and harmful effects on human health. In light of this, the science community has been turning its attention towards natural pigments, with a particular focus on anthocyanins. By extracting high-purity anthocyanins, researchers hope to gain a deeper understanding of their properties and how they can be harnessed for industrial use. Unfortunately, as there are no pure anthocyanin products available on the market, the only way to obtain these valuable pigments is through dietary supplements - such as blueberries, strawberries, grapes, and purple corn. Ranging in hues from red to blue, anthocyanins like Delchindin, Cyanidin, Petunidin, and Peonidin offer numerous health benefits. Notably, blueberries stand out as the richest source of anthocyanins, making them exceptionally nutritious.

Despite the extensive research conducted on antibiotics and vitamins, modern diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and other medical conditions remain unsolved. These health issues, as well as longevity and anti-aging problems, continue to challenge the medical community. However, scientific research suggests that if we can address the issue of free radical damage, there is a real possibility for human cells to experience unhindered growth, ultimately leading to an average human life expectancy of 125 years.
